Students deserve a safe place to learn, and staff deserve a safe place to work. I believe that every effort should be made to ensure that schools are the absolute safest places in our community. Safety protocols and policies should be constantly reevaluated and updated to ensure that there is constant vigilance to keep staff and students safe from internal and external threats. As your elected representative, I will work closely with our local law enforcement agencies to ensure that our school safety protocols are up-to-date and that our students and staff are as safe as they can be.
