A school should be a place of learning, not a political battleground. There is no room for personal ideology in a public school. Politics and religion should be taught from a strictly academic perspective where every belief system, party, and stance should be presented in the same light and not that one is right or wrong. As your elected representative, I will work to ensure that our schools are places that teach facts, reason, and critical thinking, and where personal politics are left at the door.
